Polyammonium Ether is a nontoxic, highly cytocompatible, and water-soluble antimicrobial polymer, which kills bacteria, fungi, and viruses through physical mechanism. The effective concentration for antimicrobial activities is ~50-100ppm. Polyammonium Ether is a positively charged polymer and can be used for forming hydrogels with negatively charged pre-gels.
